iRobot 110 Dirt Dog Workshop Robot for $99.99
"Leave the cleaning to a robot with this convenient machine. Its 14.4-volt rechargeable Ni-MH battery provides the power needed to clean hard floors, shop carpets, garage and basement areas, as well as industrial-floor surfaces. In addition, specially designed counter-rotating brushes spin almost 1,000 times per minute, sweeping up dirt and debris that cling to rough surfaces. Simply press the "clean" button and the unit sweeps under workbenches, cars, and other hard-to-reach places, picking up nuts, bolts, dirt, and more. For added convenience, "cliff" sensors keep it from falling down stairs or other vertical drops. The unit offers an oversized, bagless, easy-to-empty debris bin, and its power supply fully charges in seven hours. Accessories include a standard battery, a standard charger, a cleaning tool, and an owner's guide. The cleaning machine measures approximately 13 by 13 by 4 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty."

hmm, this is very tempting. I have several roombas a love them but one for the garage??!! Haven't thought of that before...
same deal at http://www.frys.com/product/5124966, and also free shipping!
This would be great for a garage. I use the dirt dog in my kitchen and it picks up items both large and small. Compared to my other roomba (510) the dirt dog is very easy to clean and maintain however considerably louder than the 510. Perfect for a garage or an unfinished basement.
Got my Dirt Dog in a combo pack from a Woot Off. It works great for picking up workshop debris. It is a bit louder than the 510, but not really noticeable when my table saw is running.
Nice. In for one.
Thanks! I was waiting for a good deal on this one for my basement and garage. :)
i have no roombas :(
my last place had hardwood floors and this would have been great for it. but now i have a place that's carpeted. i need a normal roomba :(
I picked up one of these in a combo pack a few months ago. It's great for larger debris inside and out. Also keep in mind that this is a sweeper, not a vacuum. Standard 400-series Roomba have a vacuum bin and use a rubber beater brush. This uses two bristle brushes.
I love mine. I use it down in the basement every time I cut some wood or metal. It usually picks up about 99% of the mess.
I just got one for my GF's bakery. We can't wait to see how it works since I have one for my house and been loving every minute of it (except when I don't pay attention and it runs over my toes).
