do it. It's awesome. I dumped my roomba and got one of these and it does 10 times better in a fraction of the time. This thing moves these into a category closer to an actual vacuum (for basic dust and pet fur maintenance) and not just a cool conversation piece like brand-R. Well worth the money if your clutter is under control enough to use it regularly.

I got one during the last Wootoff. Manufacturer's defect with the cliff sensors, so the poor guy never got to roll around. I called them up in the middle of the night and some friendly guy in San Diego helped me through the process. They're sending me a new unit and a prepaid shipping label, I just switch 'em out and send 'em back.

These things happen. Kind of a bummer when you've already given it a new home where the Roomba 530 was parked, but I can wait a little while longer.

I got one, its awesome. As a vacuum it seems plenty powerful, especially since its easy to vacuum more often! We have a ranch house with 7 rooms on one floor, it does the whole floor and recharges itself in between, rooting its way in to the bedrooms and bathroom, winding between the kitchen, dining room, and family room. The kitchen island confuses it a little, it usually does an extra lap around before it realizes its already covered that ground. But it does get to the whole house. When its all done and located 4 rooms away from the charging base it has failed to find its way back once or twice, but that was only after it had done all the rooms and was at the other end of the house, so I give it a pass on that one. This thing is pretty smart, no doubt about it.

I LOVE mine! I did have to trim off the old dirty fringe on an area rug, but no problems since! It is really nice. I wish I had one on each floor of our home.
