Don't scoff! If any of you have used these desks, you'll know how nice they are. They may not be much to look at, but they are very functional and heavy-duty. These will still be useable in 25 years when your company is bankrupt and liquidated. (Ha! I'm kidding!)

It's a sale on a nice series of desks that don't normally go on sale.
Free shipping is nice, too.

I didn't appreciate desks like these until maybe a year or so ago, when I moved out and the Ikea desks that I figured I would get turned out to be pretty much garbage.

Now I look back on the sturdy as hell desks of yesteryear and go, "yeah, I would like that." That is, if I could carry the damn thing. Those things are HEAVY.

@namorama: That's what keeps me buying crappy Ikea furniture over commercial-grade products, it's just too massive and heavy and they generally do not break down for transport. I'd love to see someone--maybe even Ikea--make some nice, durable, modular furniture out of metal that doesn't cost as much as a small car.
