All in all a great deal considering the fact that you can get access to Netflix, HuluPlus, Epix, XBOX Arcade, Kinect video chat with friends/relatives in other states...great price; even though not the lowest; even if $1 or $2 more; still worth every penny!

Same price on Amazon and you don't have to wait for it to ship or pay taxes on it. It will give you the code on the spot.

@ds1018: $3+ difference, and to some that will make a difference and to most like me waiting an extra day or two doesn't matter I never let my account get close to expiring anyway.

I´m a noob in xbox live, I have three live free accounts, one for me and two for my kids, and one xbox console. I have to buy three gold memberships so everyone can play online?, or one gold membership covers all the user of the console. Anyone?

@feherr: Buying one gold membership will only give one member online access. But you could also have someone play live as a guest under their gamertag (the one with the gold account). You should look at their family deal, it might be a better option: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/Live/Join?xr=shellnav

@bruceleeroy75: If my netflix membership price was included in the xbox live gold membership then it would be a great deal. I just got an xbox for christmas and I'm really disappointed that netflix app services aren't free. It's free on my Wii and Playstation.

This is pretty much a normal price at this point. If your gold is about to expire, sure go for it. Otherwise, keep your $40

Downloadable code @ Best Buy is same price: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Microsoft+-+Xbox+LIVE+12-Month+Gold+Membership+(Downloadable+Content)/1419578.p?id=1218256955580&skuId=1419578

@liquidblue1 Ive never know Netflix to be free on any device. You have your account and the app is free. Xbox does come with a free 1 Month trial... Unless Im mistaken.

Nevermind I get it now lmao. But IMHO Ive enjoyed Xbox Live way more than PSN but to each his own. I just think the Xbox experience is better but thats with MS hand on my wallet. :)

I'm looking for a deal on the one with the chatpad and headphones. I saw them for $59 [Just before I got the Xbox for Christmas] (for $20 more you get the headset, chatpad & $5 worth of points) but now I can't find that deal.

I've had a PS3 for about 5 years. I got a 360 for Christmas and Netflix is so much better on Xbox than it was on PS3 which is still better than Netflix on Tivo. I LOVE the voice commands. Soon there will be an Xfinity/Concast app for Xbox there is already one of Fios. It also works with Media center on the computer. Zune has some free shows like the Guild before anyone else, xbox saves your games in the cloud, online matchmaking works well in Halo, you you a persistant idenity in Halo and an Avatar people can see. Kinnect Chat is amazing, as good as the $10,000 video conference system we have at work, for focusing on the person who is speeking.

It's less than Eleven Cents a day with these deals.

My xbox Live membership expired 3 days ago (only a slight freakout about not having any online gaming for a couple of days.......) so paying $3 more than buy.com or amazon to walk into my local Best Buy and get this off the shelf was well worth it for me. Not having to wait for the shipping was worth every penny of that extra $3.
