Does anyone have an idea as to how long it will take to receive the first issue? I'd like to jump on this deal, but am moving in 3-4 weeks.

vote-for2vote-against

I just ordered 4 year subscription and it said 8-10 weeks before first issue arrives

vote-for1vote-against

@crafty35a: I just ordered the magazine and it said that it takes 8-12 weeks for the first issue to arrive.

vote-for0vote-against

no bueno, a few weeks ago i ordered ESPN for $4 a year, so 4 years was only $16. This is a horrible deal.

vote-for3vote-against

This is the same deal. $4 a year.

vote-for1vote-against

@davidmorin512: Did you read the full deal? This is exactly the same price, $4/year with the coupon code.

vote-for1vote-against

Good deal. The insider makes it worth it.

vote-for1vote-against

still a great deal. $16 for 4 years? Who cares if it takes 8-10 weeks to start up...

vote-for2vote-against

When do we get the insider access info?

vote-for1vote-against

Ordered this about two months ago, got my first issue two weeks ago. Insider access works too! Excellent deal!

vote-for0vote-against

when/how does the insider access come?

In for 4 (years)

vote-for2vote-against

In for a year. Nice deal, just in time for football season.

vote-for2vote-against

It worked! This is great! Does anyone know how long until you get the Insider access?

vote-for1vote-against

Woohoo I ordered just for the insider for 4 years. I am pumped!

vote-for3vote-against

Once you receive your first issue, log onto espn.com and activate your insider account with your subscription account number. It's on the name tag that's on every issue with your name and address on it.

vote-for2vote-against

Three years for me! Awesome deal.

vote-for1vote-against

What kind of perks do you get with Insider?

vote-for2vote-against

@crafty35a: I also saw 8-10 weeks, so if you are moving soon, you are probably safe putting your new address for the order (assuming you already know it).

@killthenoles: @bahudspeth: @bobmek: Insider access can be used once you receive your first issue of ESPN the magazine. If you already have an ESPN.com account, you can add it to your existing account pretty easily. Log in to your account, and click the "Activate Insider" link next to your login name at the top-right of the ESPN home page.

Directly beneath the 'Subscribe Now' button, you should see this in fine print (gray) text:

"If you already subscribe to ESPN The Magazine, please click here to upgrade your subscription to include ESPN Insider at no additional cost."

P.S. I like the shameless self-promotion the Woot staff added to my deal- "Or use code: WOOT 15% off most magazine titles (1,000+)" =)

vote-for1vote-against

Must be a dead deal. It says $13.97 now.

vote-for1vote-against

@yankeefan1087: Throughout the ESPN.com website there are articles that are labeled "Insider", you can't read them unless you have Insider access. Most major news articles are not this way, but alot of offseason news (especially college recruiting) is listed as Insider.

vote-for1vote-against

Ummmm yeah...i figured that out after i had a blonde moment! Must be monday! :P

vote-for2vote-against

I'm gonna one-up the WOOT coupon with SLICK20 coupon.
Get 20% off. doesn't stack though.

vote-for1vote-against

In for 4 years! Mainly b/c of the insider access. This is amazing, haha.

vote-for1vote-against

Went with only two years because I'm not sure how it's going to work with the renewal.

Regardless, great find.

vote-for1vote-against

Great Mag and Great find!! In for 4 years!! Subscription does NOT automatically renew. You also get ESPN insider online access included!!

vote-for1vote-against

Great deal! Signed up for four years.

vote-for1vote-against

Great deal. $0.15 per issue is too good to pass up!

vote-for2vote-against

code seems to be expired. guess the deal's dead :(

vote-for1vote-against

"Sorry, this offer code is either invalid or has expired."

vote-for1vote-against

use code 79921 to get $3 off 1year subcription only.. so $11 for 26 issues and Insider access.
