I have this and am happy with it. I keep it on my nightstand and it generates a slight breeze that helps me sleep. Has good Amazon reviews:

My unit, the High is strangely less loud than the Medium. On Medium, it sounds like a stalled motor trying to start "Ch-Ch-Ch-Ch-Ch" rapidly on repeat, but on High it's a smooth "Chhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" if that makes any sense. I findit to be annoyingly too loud on Medium. It has the same stuttering tendency on Low, so I usually just use it on High.

We have 3 of these... cat bathroom, master bathroom, master bedroom.

They work great! We haven't had any problems with ours and have had them for over a year.

Replacement filters can be found at Target for slightly less. (Perhaps Woot can have a sale for this filter? hint, hint!)

Last year when there were raging fires in the mountains (We live in CO), and the wind was blowing in our direction, the burning ash stench was awful. These air filters removed those smells VERY quickly!

If you need/want one, it's a great product!
