I think demand for USB2 drives is waning. USB3 drives are often significantly faster even in USB2 ports.

I bought one of these about 2 months ago. The form fact is TINY, and it doesn't have a dongle (strap) so it can be lost super easy. I've got mine plugged into my car stereo, can't beat $20 for 32GB of mp3 storage. The red swing clip also comes off to make this thing about the size of a mini Bluetooth receiver.

Recently, just bought 2 of these as gifts from Fry's by price matching Amazon at this price. Even before that, I got one that I just attached to my car keys so I have it all the time.
