Save your money and get the Wave model, the replaceable driver bits and scissors are invaluable.

@gellfex: Do you have a link for that? I searched for the wave model but got a bunch of different results.

Point of note on the "new wave" model, the interchangeable bits are fine for surface screws but for anything recessed more than a quarter inch you'll want something else. I have an old Wave and a Wingman and even the Wingman's philips driver won't work for me where the Wave's will.

I couldnt help but notice that you have to unfold the handle to open any of the knives and such. The wave's knives are accessible from the closed position. I lost my old Wave and bought this one as a replacement. I am having some regret now. Oh well.

@gellfex: I actually have a New Wave. I picked this one up because I ended chewing up the wire cutters when I cut a fishing hook. If they would made a Surge or Wave with replaceable wire cutters I would buy it in a heartbeat.

the wave is great for women. That thing is tiny compared to the super tool 300. i use mine at least 10-15 times a day and thie things kills the wave. Real men buy the super tool 300. Real pansies buy the wave.
