I Just recently bought this from BestBuy on eBay for $40 shipped. Good price, but this would be better if they would ship it.

@stuntdriver: Lol, that's what you get for living in the boonies!

They didnt give me any problem shipping it, good deal.

I'm an avid Rubik's guy. I've tried a friend's Rubik's touch and it drives me insane. Not anything about touch sensing but just how it works. I'm used to using both of my hands to solve a puzzle, not with sliding my finger. Normally I'd solve a 3x3x3 cube in just under a minute but with this, I lost my track because I'm so used to the motions with my entire hands.

I wouldn't recommend this to someone who is interested in getting into Rubik's cubes. Just because you might get tired and have it solve itself, you don't get the same kind of experience you get with a normal cube. I also wouldn't recommend this for those who are already into cubing for the reasons above. It will just destroy your practice.

I would only buy this because of the cool colors it plays when it's plugged in but I can make/buy the same thing for under $5.

Won't let me ship either :(
It didn't even give me a chance to enter my ZIP code, the choice of "shipping" was greyed out.

This product is one of those huge marketing blunders that makes you wonder, "why would anyone ever want that, and if they did, why on earth would they ever spend that much??"

The original product, a $150 electronic Rubik's cube, simply wasn't as easy to solve as a normal $10 one, and hugely expensive, AND drains batteries like nothing else. It was stupid, if a kid is gonna spend that much on a game, they're more likely to get a DS or PSP.

$20 is a much more reasonable price for this cube, which actually does look kinda cool. Still think it's too high though. I'll stick with the traditional one.

I'll bet... (c;

Heh... I remember seeing this thing selling for $150 before last Christmas. Being an avid cuber (I have every cube from the 2x2x2 to the 6x6x6) I felt this wasn't really something people would take to... especially other cubers. I told myself back then that it'd probably be under $20 within a year. I estimated way too long. :)

Still unavailable for shipping... grumble

Okay so it flopped quickly, but that means low numbers production run, and it'll be highly collectible in 20 years! Too bad there aren't any in the entire state of Florida, and Best Buy won't ship them.

Check your stores even if in-store pickup isn't available, my local one had four, three labeled open box and one apparently brand new one.

For anyone living in the Chicago-land area, the Best Buy on North Ave. in Lincoln Park has a bunch. I just walked over there on my lunch break and picked one up for 19.99. Thanks for posting the deal! This is a great value!
