dealsnew super mario bros. 2: video games for $29.99…

Worth it if you like Mario games which seem to stay at their MSRP until they are no longer available. Mario 3ds Land is also $30 and I think it's the best Mario in years (as a Mario 64 superfan).

With all the coins in this one I cannot help but worry that the Mushroom Kingdom is going to deal with a massive inflation problem causing devastating poverty.

The game really pushes you to collect 1 million coins... my advice is not to bother. You don't get any special award for doing so. Just play the game like you would any other Mario game and you'll have a lot more fun.

@nuclearshadow: Bowser has once again kidnapped Princess Peach, but this time, Mario has another objective. The Mushroom Kingdom is bursting with more gold coins than before. Each level is littered with gold as coins rain down from overhead pipes, trails of coins are left behind special gold enemies and gold pipes transport Mario into coin-filled caverns. It's up to players to collect as many coins as possible throughout their adventure.

@quantamm: Shh!!! Dont tell me that! This game still has replay value for me while I wait on the next Mario game. It's about to run out soon, since I'm at 830,000 coins, but for now I'm enjoying my blissful ignorance.

With the Wii we only got one Mario platform game (Mario Galaxy doesn't count). I'm hoping for at least one more mario game for the 3DS this fall.

Yeah, I'll wait on this until they make a version for XBOX ONE. :)

I do enjoy this game, but I'm really getting tired of it. Maybe I'm just old, but I remember Mario games that were fundamentally different, instead of several re-hashes of the same damn thing with a slightly changed name and a few slightly changed mechanics.

This thing became cheaper than New Super Mario Bros. Wii like a month after it came out. It's weird that some Wii games just never get cheaper while DS games always seem to be on sale..
