I always get excited when I see cheap monitors, but every single time it's this 1440 x 900 resolution crap. Who in the world wants this junk?

@knarf009: $59, dude. Fifty-Nine Dollars. It's a $59 display.

@vistaseas: Nodding head yes. I don't even want to think what I paid for my that piece of my overpriced Dell. It's probably the same resolution. ...or less if that's possible. Okay, fine for me. And, yes, I probably don't know what I'm missing. ;-)

@vistaseas: Seconded. Seconded and bought.

In 2003, I paid $400 for a 17" 1280x1024 with a terrible refresh rate.

@khellendros1984: Maybe this will make you feel better. In 1999, I paid $1000 for a 15" LCD. It was an awesome monitor that lasted until last year, but still.

Nearly ALL LCD monitors that no longer work can be fixed to working again with a couple dollars worth of capacitors and a 15 watt soldering iron. 99% of the time it is the capacitors.

I get $69.99, $10 shipping. You also qualify for a $20 mail-in rebate which shows up at circuit city's site.
