If you run out of ink, order another printer...since is cheaper than cartridges.

This is a great deal! Can't see if it's new or refurbished, but either way, I've had great experiences with Canon products and customer service! It IS actually cheaper for the printer than the refills, so why not buy 4 and throw them out when they run out of ink? Welcome to America! Land of discarded electronics.

The only negative I see is there is no Fax function, which is the only reason I keep my old Kodak AIO printer hooked up.

@tcayer: there are plenty of online services that allow you to send small (< 5 pages) scans as faxes for free. One I have used before without incident is http://faxzero.com/.

@tcayer: I have the fax model, we love it. We get our ink from one of those refill places, no issues and the unit runs fine. This unit is NEW!!!

This is a deal. I bought an MP280 on a whim from the clearance section at the bookstore to use as an emergency/luxury printer. I paid $26 plus tax. The one I have has similar all in one functions, similar print quality, and etc from Canon without the wireless feature. There were HP wireless models available for $45 but my printer is only for myself and I can print at school/work for free.

If I didn't already have a printer I have only printed 1 test page on I'd be in. This is a deal, free shipping is the deal maker. My similar Canon scans and prints like it's almost worth MSRP. And that's a statement for a bargain hunter.
