WTH....I thought Circuit City went out of business??? They did in my home town.

Circuit City online is still around.

The deal at circuit city is $109 and the new egg is $129. If you get, please update the firmware and drivers on your computer to avoid any problems.

Circuit City isn't the Circuit City of old. They went under, and the name was bought by another company. Can't remember the name, but it wasn't the greatest.

At the Newegg link above, this drive is getting terrible reviews. I was interested, but I think I'll pass after reading all of that.

@gruverja: This model was flawed when it was first released--but Seagate has already updated firmware for them. I have 5 of these on a NAS running for 877 hrs so far with no problems.

I still trust Seagate, however, over WD and Maxtor (although Maxtor is now a Seagate company..ugh!).
