Those who think this is a good deal should note that Corsair has a not-so-great track record with rebates.

Also, this may not matter to some, but transfer speeds are on the slow end of the spectrum.

not a bad deal. i have some of their full sized drives, work great for me. thanks.

@kdulcimer: rebates are generally handled by a 3rd party. can't necessarily blame corsair (other than they picked the poor company, but MIR's are a scam anyway).

I love the idea of these things: a tiny flash drive on your keys. I hate digging through my work bag looking for mine. But the couple times I’ve tried them either the drive itself of the ring attachment hasn’t been durable enough to last more than a month or two being jostled around in my pocket all day, and/or plugging them in with my keys hanging off. They need a clip so they can be easily removed (which this looks like it has), but that’s also a big part of why they’re not very durable.

If you get one, good luck. I sincerely hope you achieve that data convenience nirvana that has so eluded me.

Egad. Enough of the MIR scams, already!

@dinkledort: Using a ziptie in the little carrier hole, instead of any of the original rings/strings, has worked wonders for keeping my drives on my keychain without them falling off.

Not a bad deal, but I personally don't care for mail in rebates. You never know if you will ever get it or not.
