Need an upgrade?
Well, look no further because the Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 ST3500620AS Hard Drive has it all! The 7200.11 is an ideal choice for mainstream PCs, performance PCs, gaming machines and workstations, even desktop RAID and external storage devices. It delivers up to 43 percent power savings over the previous Seagate desktop generation without sacrificing drive or system performance, giving customers the ability to manufacture eco-friendly systems that meet energy savings requirements. Get the best of both worlds - top hard-drive performance and the satisfaction of knowing they are using a high-capacity drive with a very small eco-footprint.
Todays software applications require lots of hard drive space which is why this hard drive comes equipped with a whopping 500 GB storage capacity, while the SATA/300 interface and 16 MB buffer ensure smooth operating.

Warranty: 5 Years Warranty!
Doesn't matter, the .11 series is the evil drive of doom.
I would personally not trust this hard drive.
Warranty's nice. But what's going to be nicer if you are thinking of buying this would be a backup hard drive. Warranty's not going to help you recover lost data.
Besides, it's poor value. Get a 1TB hard drive or higher; they offer better bang for the buck.
500 GB drive is enough for most consumers. This is a good drive for the money, but not a deal. Got the same drive same cost a year ago online regular price. (A site that rhymes with smiger correct)
hmmm... for 5 bucks more, ill get this new one: http://www.amazon.com/Western-Digital-Caviar-Drive-WD5000AAKS/dp/B000Q82PIQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1283589153&sr=8-1
I was in Need of A Hard Drive for my Daughters Computer I had Super Bad Luck with WD and Seagate they usually go bad withing a year or so. I picked a nice Hitachi for the same Price

For 1 dollar more you can get a 1 TB drive. Only 2 hours remain though!
it's so obvious that @alexnumberone works for gearxs. I loved when he lied about getting the the great deals on the mystery bags.
hard drive warranties are essentially useless, the warranty wont help you get the data back if your drive crashes. i'd say go with something more reliable, there's a reason these things sell so cheap.
I wouldn't buy these drives for free.99
