xkcd Online Communities Map - 2010 Preorder for $20
Also buy any three posters and get 33% off each poster!
This is a PREORDER for the poster of the updated Map of Online Communities (2010 version). It's a nice, large poster; at 32x37 inches, it's roughly the size of the original hand-drawn map. It will be printing and shipping within a couple weeks, probably by October 18th.
Also available as a poster pack with the 2007 version.
This is an amazing map, you can spend hours looking over every little section:

They almost blew their own web site out of the water with this cartoon. The first fifteen minutes it was up, I'd bet that half the xkcd fans in the country were downloading the large size for this. It's almost worth the twenty smackers, just to have it as a poster.
BETTER DEAL: If you buy 3 posters at once, they all 3 come up at $10.00 each which INCLUDES this new poster pack (both the 2007 and 2010 versions), so you're getting 4 posters for $30.00!!! (+ shipping)
My Order Came To:
Online Communities Poster Pack 10.00
Height Poster 10.00
Map of the Internet 10.00
Shipping 5.00
Total 35.00
Goes well with the current shirt.woot derby
Sweet! I have been meaning to pick up a signed print for a while now, but didn't really want to pay for shipping on only one item. It was still $5 shipping for a bunch of stuff. I hope that's not a mistake and they honor the $10 price for the 2 pack, and don't try to cancel or only send one of them.
I got: (1) Online Communities Poster Pack
(1) Movie Narrative Charts Poster
(1) Height Poster
(1) #150 Grownups (5.3"x12")
$50 total
I had to order this one:
"Make me a sandwich."
"What? Make it yourself."
"sudo Make me a sandwich."
"Ok."
Let my geek factor shine.
Excellent find. I'm in for one.
I watched the movie "Primer" just becuase of the Movie Narrative poster. It was good, but I was quite confused.
Hahahaha. 4-Chan is shaped like something. When did reddit invade woot?
Aww man, I love XKCD. I was kind surprise to see a posting for it on Woot, but awesome non the less. Although I never thought of downloading the map. It's one heck of a piece of art and he put a lot of work into it and if I had money, I might have bought a print....
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is it's an awesome deal lol
Hmm, I've never heard of Happy Farm. Must be huge in Asia.
@catbertthegreat: Here's another fun map, although it takes a bit more to understand what's going on in it.
Yep. It's a map of the advertisers, created by one of the big ones, and demonstrating everything from affiliate links to just what feeds into where. It's unbelievable fascinating, and a reminder of just how important it is to block things like tracking cookies.
