The first two or three seasons are amazing, but the show starts getting a little tedious after that. However, this box set is still worth having just so you can see MacGyver's face exploding out of a fireball on your DVD shelf whenever you walk into your living room.

I used to love this show... I watched an episode a couple months ago and was almost embarrassed about how cheesy it was. Did I stop watching though? Of course not.

You can totally make this set on your own at home. All you need is some foil, tape, a paper clip, and a lighter.
A true MacGyver fan would know this.

If you loved this show as a kid and haven't watched it since,

DO NOT WATCH IT!

Leave you childhood memories intact. I bought the first season when it came out a few years ago, I couldn't make it through all the episodes. My wife found me crying naked in a corner rocking back and forth. After some much needed time in the hospital I have finally learned to put the pieces back together & can ride the bus all by myself now. Bottom line, was it a good show? Yes. is it still a good show?....

Is this available on Blu-Ray? Yes, I'm being picky. I would just have my receiver up-convert it, but going from 480p to 1080p doesn't look that good, especially on a 65" screen..
