Oblivion is by far at the top of my all time favorites list. Played it on and off pretty much an entire year a couple years back. You won't be for lack of things to do, even without the expansion.

If you love Oblivion definitely check out Fallout 3. It's by Bethesda, the makers of Oblivion, and it's basically Oblivion with guns set in post-nuclear war Washington DC. I'm in the middle of it, and it's just as gigantic and engrossing as Oblivion. The story progression and controls have been improved, as well as the graphics.

@thericochet: I personally prefer FO3. I really did not care for the leveling system of Oblivion. It was too easy to accidentally screw up your character and there was too much grinding to get the character you want. Even so, Oblivion for this cheap is a good deal and will keep someone entertained for a very long time.

@memnoch565: I haven't played FO3 but will definitely agree there's a bit of repetition involved if you want to make a specialized character in Oblivion. Excellent game, though, and a steal at eight bucks.

@slickpappy: i'm not running win7 yet so i can't answer. in this day and age of virtual machines, it should be pretty easy to run on win7 or on a winxp virtual.

Not so old... great price... add the $5.99 3 day shipping and you'll be playing a great game in less than a week for under $15.00. Steam probably couldn't beat that. Great deal... thanks!
