Buying one just to put it on the bookshelf between my ATV and car repair manuals...

The Millenium Falcon doesn't really exist...just throwing that out there.

@oct8pus: Thanks so much for that info, I was just about to go down to the ole spaceport and lease one for the missus... guess I will just have to settle for the uss enterprise ;)

vote-for12vote-against

@oct8pus: What? Next you will say something mean about the Easter Bunny!

vote-for11vote-against

@oct8pus didn't stop me buying the Enterprise D schematics...

Just bought one to keep on the shelf all my old engineering text books and car manuals. If they do this thing in true Haynes/Chiltons fashion, I'm gonna squeal like a little girl.

I don't need this, I have an R2 unit that can talk to the hyperdrive.

Hot diggity! I done went and bought myself a corellian freighter that had a blowed up motor. Reckoned that I could fix her up real nice. Turns out I don't have the learning to fix that fancy spaceship on my own. It's been sittin on cinderblocks in the front yard for the last two years. The missus says it's got to get off the blocks so she has a place to put our new hottub (old Ford F150 bed lined with a tarp from Walmart!). This here book is just the thang to save the day! Thanky!

Oh man! How cool! I use to have one of these! It was fast too! Did the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs!

vote-for6vote-against

I won one of these in a card game... my old buddy Lando still wants her back.

vote-for5vote-against

I can't wait!!

Now all I want next it is a repair manual for a Firefly class transport ship that I plan on getting at an old junk spaceyard. A general manual will do, but if I have to be specific, Midbulk transport, standard radion-accelerator core, classcode 03-K64, Firefly.

@boosturtle: Man, that guy has owned a lot of these things.

vote-for1vote-against

So… If I can just get some investment/funding we can build this puppy right up and head for the stars! woohoo!

vote-for4vote-against

Now that is just plain cool. Definitely in for one. Will be great to add to my other Haynes manuals.

vote-for9vote-against

What the hell is an aluminum falcon?

vote-for3vote-against

Looks like a must have for anyone with a "My other car is the Millennium Falcon" bumper sticker.

vote-for1vote-against

Does this show how the Heisenberg Compensator works?

vote-for3vote-against

$15.80? We could almost buy our own ship for that!

vote-for1vote-against

@enzo01: I just posted a bumper sticker with free shipping -- "My other car can do the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs." Just couldn't resist. This repair manual is going to make an awesome gift for the Star Wars geek in my life -- oh wait, then I'm buying a gift for me :)

vote-for1vote-against

Is Millennium the manufacturer? I can't find this on KBB

vote-for2vote-against

Why waste your time fixing up that old piece of junk...trade it in for a nice H-type Nubian, far faster, and the S5 hyperdrive won't fail you right when the Imperial fleet is about to blow you to pieces...

vote-for3vote-against

@pg318: Can't stash and smuggle people in a Nubian. But if you just want to get from point A to point B real fast, I guess a Nubian would do the trick. Plus a Nubian is so fancy looking, you can't do the float-away-with-the-space-trash trick.

vote-for2vote-against

@wuz314159: probably not -- wrong scifi genre

vote-for2vote-against

@bbruin66: Corellian Engineering Corporation. It's in the NADA collector guides, under 'Spacecraft and Other'.

vote-for1vote-against

@oct8pus: Yes it does i have one made out of lego

vote-for1vote-against

Is this for the stock factory model, or does it include a few modifications? Once this is on sale there will probably be a run on hydrospanners and alluvial dampers.

vote-for1vote-against

Ooooh, I want this. Of course, it probably will end up being thumbed through but ultimately unused like my other Haynes and Chiltons purchases...

vote-for2vote-against

@erichss - You mean R2D2 was just an OBD reader with wheels?

vote-for0vote-against

I would like to point out that they also made a manual for the U.S.S. Enterprise and it appears nobody is happy with the content of that book
