This series is so worth it. I just started re-watching it again last week. Best sci-fi show ever.

Peacekeeper Wars?

This is also my favorite Sci Fi Series, after all things Star Trek.

@qman89: Yahbut it's a pita to copy it. This way you'd have it in your hands. I really liked this series (as well as Lexx and Babylon5) for their great stories and entertainment.

Last I checked, only the Best Buy edition has a copy of Peacekeeper Wars with it...

I bought this set a few months ago and can verify that this one does NOT include Peacekeeper Wars. However, you can pick this up for about ~$10 making the entire set about $60, which is still an awesome deal.

OK, I need some advice from the Farscape fans here. I bought the complete series based largely on the recommendations of people like yourselves, plus the fact that I liked Browder and Black when they came over to SG1. But...

I watched the first two episodes and so far, it does nothing for me. It's OK when only Browder and Black are on screen, but I just can't get past the whole Muppets In Space vibe whenever any of the puppets appear. The clunky prostheses on some other characters are also distracting.

So my question is: How many episodes would you recommend I watch before I decide I've given it a fair chance but it's just not my taste?

@czetie: I think since you're already a fan of SG-1, it shouldn't be too hard to transition into Farscape. I'll admit it starts off slow and silly, but becomes much more character-driven as the episodes and seasons go on. If you're willing to bear through the first half of season one, it really starts to come together and gives you a taste of the series arcs that drive will the show.

It really depends on why you watch shows and what you want to get out of them. If you're willing to put up with a season with a lot of corn and ham, you will be rewarded with three more seasons that just keep getting better and more in-depth in character and mythos. I remember feeling the same way when I first started watching the show, but now it's definitely one of my favorite sci-fi shows of all time.

Give it a chance. You just might like it.
