Okay, so I put the code in on the "Order Review & Payment" page, hit "Apply" and it says "Coupon Code has been applied", but my order total does not change. I have never purchased from them before. So I just canceled out... but if anyone knows how to make it work, I'll try again.

I tried the following codes with no luck:
DEALSFPFREE
FIRSTPAIRFREE

@kyamega: Code works I put some ladies frames called Bongo ($38) and they ended up free.

The deal is good for "coupon eligible frames only." If you click on the "first pair free" ad on the home page, or say, "SHOP MEN'S FRAMES" within the ad, you'll get the coupon eligible frames. Most of them may be "house brands" but I see a few familiar names among them.

It ended up being $15 for shipping and insurance.

@kyamega: I just changed the link to be for coupon eligible glasses only. If you try a frame from this link and still have issues, please let me know.

I'm just going to put this out there. This would be a cheap way to get some costume glasses as well.

My favorite costume idea I ever had. I bought 2 things: A superman t-shirt and a pair of clear (no perscription) glasses.

Also, just fyi,I wore: Dress clothes worn over it, unbuttoned shirt for the t-shirt and a name tag/sticker that said "Press Pass: Clark Kent, Daily Planet."

Paid $14.07 for shipping and insurance. I'll see how they fit and if they get the prescription right, but Zenni Optical is stil way cheaper product, shipping and they don't charge insurance.

@bengoss: thats a great costume idea, might have to steal it. im not big on costumes, but simple/non-outrageous ones are right up my alley.

Pretty quick processing. Ordered mine last night and they're already on their way. Shipped out today (5/7), scheduled to arrive on 5/10. As long as the prescription's correct and they fit, well worth the almost $15 for a spare pair of glasses.

@thefenst:

Here is exactly what I just tried:

- I used the link above.
- It showed me a list of 952 glasses.
- I changed sort to A-Z, found the ones I want on page 37: Safety Sunglasses Matte Black
- Added to cart and chose the Coatings Value Bundle
- Selected Ground shipping
- Merchandise Total $105.95
- Shipping FREE
- Handling $7.36
- Applied DEALSFPFREE (nothing changed)
- Applied FIRSTPAIRFREE (removed $4.41 from handling only)

Did all of the above with Firefox and IE9 with the same results.

I give up.

Coastal is great, I got a pair of hingeless frameless glasses from them in February, the quality is quite good, they've proven sturdier than I expected but weigh about as much as a large paperclip.
Protip: The extra 10 bucks for UV, anti-glare, and anti-scratch is money well spent.

/honestly not a shill
