Yes this will work on your Mac. But your Mac wont work with much else.

I have one of these, there is actually a pretty decent group over at XDA forums working on porting Cyanogenmod 10. The device is pretty decent on its own though. Not a bad price.

Not a good enough price when you consider it comes with a 2-year-old OS that, as I understand it, cannot be upgraded.

It's a pity there aren't more of these kinds of devices. The iPod Touch needs good (cheaper!) Android equivalents.

/owns iPod Touch and Acer A100 7" tablet running Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0.3).

Hmm, I snagged a used DROID x on Craigslist, rooted + rom, and have my 72gb android ipod (aPod?)

If these specs were a bit better I'd jump all over it, cause my Acer A500 and Samsung galaxy s2 aren't enough...... I :)

This is actually a nice little player. I have been using one for the last 2 years. It is basically th e same as a Galaxy Tab in a smaller package. It runs everything I throw at it and serves well. It is worth the price.

Stay on the look out for the Galaxy Player 5.8, that one will be dual-core and will run Android 4.0.

I got the UK version when it was offered on Woot, when Woot was still Woot.
It was offered before it came out in the USA at $175 on Sept 18th 2011. That was a great deal then.
I have loved it but this price is slightly too high for the year and 1/2 out of date. I might think of it for $99 or $80.
It still runs well and I can play most every game I have but it is definitely slower than my newer android phone.

I have a problem with the onesaleaday site. I bought something from them a month ago and it still hasn't shipped. Fortunately it was only $10, but I would never buy anything this expensive from them.

this is probably spec'd for up to a 32gb SD card. has any tried and been able to get a 64gb to work on this?

Sorry to be bummer but I don't recommend buying this
I bought one because my old ipod was running out of memory.
The music quality isn't as great as an ipod. There's a slight fuzz in the background if you listen carefully. Very annoying when you are listening to orchestral music. It will not disappear whatever you do.
The OS is ridiculously terrible as well. So slow.
There were other problems with the device so I turned it in for the warranty. Samsung said they replaced some parts and whatnot but the problems are still there.....
I bought this during the summer when it was like $200
I regret buying this

@tivonutdc: I bought one for myself and my wife off Ebay from people that bought them from Woot. I take mine to work everyday. My wife has since got a smartphone, so she doesn't use hers that often. I like that it fits in a harddrive case with my FiiO E11, Triple Fi 10 earbuds, verizon hotspot and I can still carry it in my pocket.
