Great for homebrewing. Makes it easy to control those fermentation temps !!
Not in my homebrew.....220 volt operation.
In for one for a DIY sous vide setup.
They have two other models at 220v as well, at $16.99~$17.99, however they appear to be in Celsius.
Tempting. Looks like the unit runs off 12-volt DC but is made to control a 220 volt appliance. If I hook this up to my 110 volt slow cooker, is it going to kill me and burn down my house?
They have Fahrenheit and 110V for $16.99! Just ordered two for my howebrew set up.

Anyone use one of these on a saltwater fishtank? I assume it has a probe.
Anybody use one of these on an espresso machine?
@spellshock: Hello, it can be used for water tanks and it comes with temperature sensor probe
I ordered this controller and built mine tonight. The unit marked for 220v works fine on 110.
OK, so I got mine in the mail. It says "INPUT: AC 110V." Does that mean I hook 110v up to the power? Or just that it can control an appliance that runs off 110v AC? I was under the impression that this thing ran off of 12v DC.
