Nice deal. Worth getting two just for the replacement toner.

@mistamoose: I don't think inkjet printers use toner. But Clark Howard (radio consumerist guy) says it is cheaper to buy new printers than to buy replacement ink cartridges.

@therealjrn: Tempting, but just had a vision of garbage dumps with miles of brand new cheap printers with no ink cartridges...is this what the writers of the Declaration of Independence had in mind?

That used to be the case when printers came with full cartridges installed, but now they contain "starter" cartridges. Just enough ink to get you going, but you'll still need to buy full sized cartridges soon.

@fishcandy: I haven't actually tried to study this and check, but I still feel your better off with a bunch of new cheap printers. I also have a problem with all my printers breaking in a relatively short time and cheap printers also help there.

If you need a cheap scanner, this would be it. Otherwise, I always recommend buying a laser printer like Brother or an HP cheap laser printer (Between $50-$100). Cannon makes pretty decent inkjet printers, but you still have to buy an expensive ink cartridge, to replace the starter ink cartridge.
