This film is notable for many reasons, including the final scene with Edward G. Robinson, in his final role, where he watches the films of the vanished beauties of Earth, and listening to music from the masters, while undergoing assisted suicide at a government clinic called "Home" (mangled from Wikipedia). When Robinson died, a couple of weeks after the filming ended (and before the film was released), they used this same montage on the news.

He was (in life) a sweet and generous human being.

"Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here, we might as well dance."
