Anyone know if this works with Windows 7?
And how much it costs to play? I assume it is monthly fee, right?

@benyust2: Works on all Windows XP+ and OSX 10.4+ (I think). You should get at least a month free when you buy the first (you might get free months for the expansions don't know). Thereafter it's $15/month monthly or like $14/month for a 3 month block...I pay monthly so I can bail whenever (yeah right lol).

@benyust2: I can verify that it does indeed work on Win7. I use Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate (not that ultimate makes any difference).

They did this deal last year and the price carried over into retail stores like GameStop. This is a great deal if you want to buy yourself (or a friend, for Christmas) the new 2-person rocket. For $20, you get the rocket. (Math = $5 for account, $30 for the 2 months of service needed to get the rocket, -$15 for the free month of service you get for referring a friend with 1 month of service = $20).

World of Warcraft is a crazy addictive game. If you were thinking of trying it, this is a great way to see if you'll like it. And next week the price will go back up, so this is the right time to buy.

This is a sweet deal for my buddy. He doesn't own the game, and for $50 he can start his account (upgrade from his trial) and get a months free time for starting. Not only that but if I recruit him, I'll also get a months free time!

Win-Win in my book.

@urza2k4 Whereas I don't condone the total time sink of wow anymore you can't really make the broad, sweeping, completely inaccurate statement that "wow sucks." The game is well put together, solid, entertaining, multi-faceted, and 12 million people think you may have brain damage because they pay every single month to play it. Don't be such a troll.

lol theme park mmo wast of time...

@urza2k4: In my opinion, anyone that recommends Darkfall is by definition trolling.

Actually, with the new pre-expansion Patch. They basically revamped their own game. All the classes have changed, along with all the original content. I love how people hate on WoW so much when it's the Number One MMO on the market lol.

For the last couple months, every time I walk into a 7-11 I've seen WoW discs on the counter for $5. That's here in Oregon and up in Washington state too, anyway. For those of you that like to have the actual disc rather than just a download. And you can stock up on Cheetos, Monster energy drinks, or whatever other nibblets you need to get you through your first World of Warcrack experience. :D

Been playing this game for about 4 years, currently beta testing Cata. It is a great game, blizzard updates the content frequently to keep it interesting.
