Well the sale is over now but the coupon is good until the 30th!

Congrats to all that walked out with the game in hand for $22 or $12!

vote-for2vote-against

K-Mart sucks. Wouldnt take the coupon but Best Buy took it no questions asked and when I used this coupon https://myrewardzone.bestbuy.com/viewDetails.jspx?tc=CPN_10, I walked out with the game for $12.76

vote-for2vote-against

Just got home from Best Buy and have the game in hand for 22.39. Blur wasn't really on my radar but for this price, it was a no brainer. Many thanks to the OP!

vote-for2vote-against

I was also able to use both coupons at Best Buy. You will need to ask for a manager, who will need to go to the office and validate the coupon. Also, make sure they scan the Reward Zone card, then Best Buy coupon, then total the order, then manually enter the coupon with their F7 key. Be persistent, and you should be able to make it work. $9.99 + tax is an awesome price for this game to say the least.

Brought the $20 off manufacturers coupon and the $10 off Best Buy RZ coupon to my local Best Buy.

Was a little nervous when she said she had to get manager approval, but the manager didn't even flinch. They keyed in $20 off manually didn't even scan the coupon. Didn't give me any hassle about having two coupons either.

I walked out with $60 game in hand for $11.72. What a steal!

vote-for2vote-against

I just picked it up at the local Best Buy today for $9.99. No sales tax in NH. Cashier didn't even flinch while scanning the coupons.

vote-for2vote-against

Update! Went to K-Mart last night, and had no problems. Manager had to come, made a call, and she and the cashier talked in Spanish for a bit, but they asked no questions. Woot Woot.

vote-for1vote-against

Nice, glad some people are standing there ground with the coupon and them finding out it is indeed real.

vote-for1vote-against

Just worked at my local Best Buy. No questions asked.

vote-for2vote-against

This makes me think i should have been more forceful at my Best Buy. Going to try a K-Mart and another Best Buy tonight.

For the two that had to argue, what argument did you use to convince them?

vote-for1vote-against

Just ran to the BB near my house. They eventually took both coupons after the store manager "made some calls". Also gave me a 1 time 30% discount on another video game purchase for "doubting my honesty as a customer..." So for $44 and some change got blur and the transformers game, not a bad deal.

vote-for2vote-against

Well, I just used the coupon at KMart, and after several phone calls to managers and staring at the coupon, and all but accusing us of bringing in a fraudulent coupon, it got rang up and I left with the game for $22.70.

vote-for2vote-against

Both coupons just worked for me at the Joplin, MO Best Buy, no questions asked. Walked out game in hand for $9.99 + tax

vote-for2vote-against

Just picked one up in Nashville, TN. Only copy left on the floor, so I guess they'd seen plenty of the coupon before I got there. Even got the reward zone coupon with no trouble at all.

vote-for2vote-against

Worked at my local Best Buy (Concord, NC) last night without any problems. I wasn't aware of the additional Rewards $10 so I can't comment on whether they would have taken it or not.

vote-for2vote-against

I'm at work and we've got some pretty awesome firewalls up. I clicked the link and the site was blocked claiming the site has "potentially damaging content." Be careful, clickers!

vote-for2vote-against

I guess I am a big coupon person.. so I use the coupon printer a lot. It is very legit you just have to be careful what sites you are using it on!
The bottom of the coupon says Valid with no discounts or other offers. 90% of coupons have that and its refering to Manufacturer Discounts not store discounts. EXAMPLE: Target will take both a manufacturer coupon and a store coupon for one item.
I did this yesterday at Kmart sale price of 39.99 and 20 dollars of coupon. The coupon needs to be rung up manually which most of the service managers should be able to do.
This morning my friend did it at Target because Kmart ran out. Bring in Kmart or Best Buy Ad, they will price match AND use the coupon.

vote-for2vote-against

I used the coupon at a Best Buy last evening. They took it without any question. They didn't even scan the coupon, just keyed in $20 off on the register.

vote-for2vote-against

The only reason they are not accepting them besides the $ amount is that they want as much money as they can in this economy. why only make $40 on a game when you can make $60 when they use the coupon on full price. Basically screwing us over to make a buck

vote-for1vote-against

@seiplej: Awesome, Glad to hear of more successful purchases. Sorry about the ones that get denied, perhaps price match at another store and then present the coupon.

vote-for2vote-against

I just used the k-mart one last night and it worked. Got it for $22.43. What a deal

vote-for2vote-against

store get reimbursed the discount of a manufacturer coupon when a customer uses one. they have no reason not to accept it really.

vote-for2vote-against

Usually I'm a bit wary when it comes to printable coupons but took the chance. I took it to my local Best Buy before noon and they took it no questions asked. Scanned in without extra hassle. Don't know if they still are, I may have gotten in there before any notice was sent through the stores.

I think the coupon is legit but retailers are playing it cautious. With such a sizable discount I don't blame them. They don't get feedback about fraudulent coupon redemption until the coupons are sent in and they see whether or not the get their money back.

The game on the other hand I don't know how long I'll keep. I definitely would rather have purchased Split Second.

vote-for1vote-against

Just tried at Best Buy, and they wouldn't take it. Cited the text on the coupon that says "not valid with any other offers or promotions", said i either got the sale price, or the coupon, but not both.

They scanned the coupon, and the system recognized it, but gave discount as $0.

Bummer.

vote-for1vote-against

@jamiemadrox17: $39.99 was also the ad price in store as well.

vote-for1vote-against

@marrob: Bummer if Kmart is now denying it, especially since it is legit.

vote-for2vote-against

My attempts before Best Buy:

Kmart - took coupon, but wouldn't match their online price.
Sears - would match online price, but refused coupon
Gamestop - wouldn't take either
Walmart - Wouldn't match best buy without a printed circular, wouldn't take coupon
Target - wouldn't match either
Best Buy #1 - sold out, said they would've had to have manager approval
Best Buy #2 - Had a few in stock, took coupon without question.

vote-for1vote-against

Oh, about the Kmart one. She actually tried to ring it up, but it had been updated in the system not to take the coupon. When she called a manager up, they were the ones telling me I couldn't use the coupon with the sale.

vote-for2vote-against

Ok, went out and did some searching/research.

Best Buy will only take one of the coupons (unless they don't go talk to their manager first, but most of the cashiers I dealt with were scared to do both without talking to management). Still brings it down to $20, which isn't bad at all.

Kmart is not accepting the coupon, because they say their sale price voids the coupon (then they spent about 10 minutes trying to read the small text to me instead of giving me my coupon back, cause I said I didn't want the game that much, but I still needed the coupon for testing, lol).

Target did it on the xbox 360 version, until sold out (price match, then coupon), but my local target did not get the PS3 version in yet.

Didn't try anywhere else, but I'm sure I could get walmart to accept it.

vote-for2vote-against

Just thought I'd add a bit of extra savings to this thread...

If you are purchasing from Best Buy, you can get an ADDITIONAL $10 OFF if you are a Rewards Zone member. Print the coupon below; valid through July 3:

https://myrewardzone.bestbuy.com/viewDetails.jspx?tc=CPN_10

This coupon is also good for Just Cause 2...

In order to redeem this, the $10 Rewards Zone coupon MUST BE SCANNED BEFORE the $20 coupon!

Enjoy!

vote-for1vote-against

@bsgifford05: Nope, some are some aren't. It is still a legit coupon that has been accepted at Walmart, Target etc... perhaps they are just trying to stop it with the ongoing sale.

vote-for1vote-against

hmm so kmart and bestbuy are no longer accepting these coupons...is it too late to say I told you so?

vote-for1vote-against

Wow, an additional $10 off... surprised they even did that being double up on deals. What I don't understand is why "corporate" for either of them would deny a legit deal...

vote-for2vote-against

picked it up for $11.79 after tax at my local Best Buy, using the $20 MFG Coupon and the $10 Best Buy RewardZone coupon.. Coupons FTW!

vote-for2vote-against

If you sign up for bestbuy reward zone (for free) you can print out an additional $10 coupon. This will bring the price down to $10 plus tax. I haven't done it yet but others have said they accept both coupons.

vote-for1vote-against

Confirmed that Best Buy corporate has sent out a memo to all GM's that they are not to accept these coupons. HOWEVER, if you take a copy of your local Best Buy flyer to any Target store, they will price match the flyer and honor the manufacturer coupon as well. The caveat is that YOU MUST HAVE THE PRINTED FLYER for target to price match. Just went through this dog and pony show over my lunch break, and in the end, I'm holding my copy of blur for $21.49 after tax. I'm in the St Louis area.

vote-for2vote-against

Worked for me at BestBuy(in NYC) this morning.

vote-for1vote-against

Can anyone confirm the region in which the Kmarts are not accepting the coupons?

vote-for1vote-against

Mannnnnn... I didnt have paper in the printer and canceled the print job so I could put some in. Only to b informed that I couldnt print anymore! funk!!!! stupid spyware is on my computer, what more do they want???

vote-for1vote-against

Informed at my local Kmart that corporate told them not to accept the coupon anymore. No Blur for me.

vote-for4vote-against

managed to get the game for $12 and change at best buy. the manufacturer coupon + $10 reward zone coupon. quite the steal.

vote-for2vote-against

just used it at local kmart worked... NO PROBLEMS!!!!

vote-for3vote-against

DUDE, I'm so all over this. Thanks!!!

vote-for1vote-against

I will agree with that having to use "Coupon Printer" to get valid coupons is a bit sketchy (program wise) and what not, but I say without a doubt that the coupon for this game is 100% legit a manufacture endorsed coupon!

vote-for1vote-against

The validity of this specific coupon aside a register will take the barcode because it doesn't know the difference. A picture of a barcode is just as good as the actual barcode. It's like downloading music illegally (any method in which you did not personally pay for the rights to use it), it still plays in your Ipod (or whatever) just like any music, but it was obtained illegally.

vote-for1vote-against

I am not condoning this in any way what-so-ever but there are sights just like this all over the place, one of the more prominent being cheetahmail.com where you can print coupons with barcodes and the whole works. Several coupons of the retailer I work for ended up on this sight and we wouldn't take them. The reason? they were illegally obtained and not endorsed by our company. Did I mention I am a manager at said retailer and have a pretty good idea what i'm talking about.

vote-for1vote-against

BTW, glad to see you and a few others are getting a great deal with this!

vote-for1vote-against

@arosiriak: Right, that could happen, and may but IMO it is still harmless and if it was not I could see it becoming a something bad for those that use it like the Sony rootkit fiasco. So that is why I am OK with using it.

What was the Kmart stint a few months back?

vote-for2vote-against

@stuntdriver: The only problem with your instructions (not bashing) is fairly simple; you may install, print, then uninstall... but then what's the purpose of uninstalling - your computer's vital stats (i.e. BIOS Revision, windows version, etc.) have already been sent out.

My solution was to just install it on another computer other than my own, and print from there. Someplace like work, library, school... They may even have some sort of "deepfreeze" program that'll wipe the program once the system shuts down anyway.

Oh, and fyi, the coupon totally worked for me. The only ones with which I've ever had issues were things like the Kmart stint a few months back... the "couponprinter" ones all seem to work just fine.
