These always seem like a bad idea. When you are a CCW holder you get the appropriate identification. Carrying a badge when you are not actually affiliated with law enforcement can't lead anywhere good.

@kevinatwoot: Because these badges are affiliated with actual law enforcement the way the little wings they used to give kids in the cockpit of an airliner are affiliated with the aviation industry.

Except these are more likely to lead to an awkward (at the least) or dangerous (or possibly deadly) scenario.
