Just follow the instructions in the link. Basically you tweet some free promotion for their website and then let them know why you want a tablet and you are entered in the drawing. Chances are slim, but it should take less than 5 minutes to enter for a chance to win.

Here is another website doing the same thing. They are looking for a little free advertising via tweets and in return they are giving away one iPad.

I like laptops. I LOVE tablet computers/PDAs. If the ipad does what a touchscreen computer does (only better)... then I want one.

It's not a tablet Mac, it's a tablet iPod Touch, literally! It's the same OS as on the iPod Touch and runs the same apps, but with a bigger screen. No Mac OS found anywhere on it.

@pphilipp: the thing is, it doesn't do what regular computers do. It doesn't even allow multi-tasking (you can only have one program open at once). I hate to state the obvious, but it is basically an over-sized iTouch.

@bobthegoat2001: Does that mean all my apps (including games and what-not) will also work with the Ipad? I would consider it in that context because of the kids, otherwise, the battery limitations are a problem still (one cannot depend on it as a phone nor does it last long enough as an e-book).

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
