Note: I posted this on a another thread thinking it was irrelevant, but turns out everyone liked my post. So I decided to put an individual thread on here. If you have already done this before, awesome. If you haven't, I hope you'd like it! Just note that the songs you'll get is probably not those popular songs, but most of the songs sounds great and matches the genre you selected. I'm guessing they're rising artists who are looking for new fans, which is great since we need more artists out there. I think you can download the songs, but I haven't tried that yet.

Blah, ran out of space.
You MUST click that red link under the title instead of the black title or yellow button below because that link fowards to my account login instead of that actual link.
Also note that you must have a Google account for this.
If you don't see that "Add Free Music" button, you should go to the "My Music" page (from play.google.com) and then click on "Free and Purchased" on Auto Playlists, then there should be a button there that says add free music.
Thanks! There's some pretty awesome music in there... including some of the songs that set my fingers a-twitchin' when I think about playing them in Rock Band (cough Carry On Wayward Son cough). ;) Very nice!
got these when i got into the beta for gmusic. some really good tunes in here, definitely worth checking out.
Followed the steps but can't find where the music was added. I want to like and use Google Play for music but it keeps failing at every turn.
EDIT: Had to log out/log in to get it to show up.
After adding genres is there a way to delete specific songs? There is a lot that it added that I would never listen too.
@silentsnow31802: You can right click on single songs and delete them.
@thompsongrapes: All I get when I right click is the regular menu that every other webpage has when I right click. No delete option is available. Is it browser specific by chance? Im no noob when it comes to this kinda stuff so something must not be right here.
@silentsnow31802: Right to the left of the time per song there's a little arrow. Click there and it'll give you the option to delete.
I had some trouble finding the link until I clicked on "Free and Purchased" under auto playlists. The button for adding free music is near the top and just to the right of the large orange text.
A part of me wants to say THANKS and the other part that has to dL the 423 songs wants to say I hate you
I have all the free songs bug I can't get anything to play.. It might be my tablet that is the problem, but nas anyone else had this happen?
@speedoo: It's probably the tablet..
@joshobra: yup, it was. Shut it down, opened it up and all is good. Thanks!
Now if I could just get all these free songs to show up on my smartphone.....
The free jazz stuff is fantastic. Just great classic stuff from Goodman, Ellington, Basie, Ella and others.
