Could this be considered a concealed weapon in some states? Check your local laws before you go stashing in your boot or hiding it in your car.

@bsmith1: Absolutely. It is illegal to carry one of these on your person or in your car unless you have a concealed weapons permit. Which you aren't going to get in that state. It is also illegal to have a baseball bat in your car unless you are either on your way or coming back from playing. There are plenty of others that have similar laws.

This comment applies specirfically to CA, but also some others, I believe NY as well. Just be sure of yours. My current residence is rather relaxed on laws. I got a weapons permit, and as near as I can tell they'll let me carry a LAW rocket and a katana.
