why is this tagged with "dvd"?
I like how the tag is "dvd"... are we supposed to put dirt in our dvd players?
Dirt Seasoning
Very Good
Do Buy Please
I have dirt for sale as well. It is on the ground when you walk outside your house (or in some cases to your nearest park) and the good news is....I am selling t=it for FREE with FREE shipping and handling and FREE tax! You're Welcome World.
@sirjustin: I'll take several tons of it please. I'd like to fill in the giant valley in my backyard. When do you deliver?
Heck yeah, all purpose seasoning...can't find that anywhere...
I have several bottles, he's actually local to where I used to live and this stuff is great! My favorite use is to mix it with olive oil to dip bread like at an italian restaurant.
I'm not sure I would use "DIRT" as a seasoning, but maybe Todd's variety is different.
Just got some dirt to try.
Well I was gonna buy until the shipping killed the deal. 1 pound bottle for $14 and shipping is almost $8. When will sellers learn their lesson? Parcel post with the postal service is far less than $8 for 1 pound. Padding the shipping just pisses people off.......how about the rest of you guys?
Is there a 3-second spice rub rule with this stuff?
@bclinton1: I agree. As someone who ships a lot of stuff it's pretty annoying when you know you are paying more than double what it costs to ship it.
That said, I would imagine that this seller would have to spend a bit more on shipping generally because he is sending glass bottles full of things to people. You can't just toss a couple of those in a box and send it cross country. Then you have to pay someone to actually wrap it and if you are a small company that hired your friends you can't pay them minimum wage...
@captainangry:
They're not glass bottles, they're plastic.
I planted four prize plants in this "Dirt" and killed everyone. I don't think theres any formica or Decomposed shredded hardwood bark mulch in this mixture.
@chefraz: I'm sorry your plants died, but why'd you have to go and kill everyone?
@tokyomonster: what was left to live for, the plants died for the dirt. they would have been next. with no cO2 you can get no oxygen.
I am Todd "The Dirt Man", and I would like to thank who ever put Todd's Dirt on this site. I have gotten a lot of customers, thanks again. I would like to comment on the high cost of shipping that two people have posted. I make NO added money on Shipping. Go to US Postal service website or to your branch and figue out the cost to ship 1 pound package through Parcel Post. You will find that it is EXACTLY the same. I am not a big company, and do not receive discounts for shipping, like the big boys. It kills me that I can't help with shipping cost. I do upgrade many customers to Priority Mail, if it is close to the same pricing. I am a small business that is trying to make it in this hard economy, with a great product. I am very thankful to Woot, and all the customers who buy my product and help promote it. I really appreciate it.
I looked up USPS info for shipping a one pound parcel post package from Colorado to Tennessee and it was $4.90. Priority Mail is $5.15. I also looked a 1lb 4oz package from LA to New York - it was $8.09 parcel, $9.55 priority. They also have flat rate priority mail boxes (any weight) across the country for $10.70 or $14.50 depending on size. $10.70 will get you a 13-5/8" x 11-7/8" x 3-3/8" box, or a 11" x 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" box, and $14.50 will get you a 12" x 12" x 5-1/2" box.
Also Todd can you please fix the typo in the crabby DIRT description because no apostrophe is needed :>
"Sometimes a bigger bottle is needed. Especially when doing up some crab's."
enter discount code "DIRTY" at checkout to receive a 15% discount off your order!!
Wow, I am impressed with the folks on this site. You are actually reading what I write on my site, lol. I appreciate the needed correction. Thank you to the person who proved my point on the shipping. I would agree with everybody that shipping is too expensive. Also many DIRTY thank you to all that have bought my DIRT. I hope you enjoy getting DIRTY.
