Got one - I'm building a dollhouse and this may come in handy...
2 speed drill = fast or slow, not variable speed like most good drills. Not a very good deal in my opinion.
@zerk74: It is a good enough deal just for the cordless jigsaw.

reputable brand...great for back-up drill.
@zerk74: It probably means two speed RANGES, not two speeds: low for more torque when driving screws, and high for faster drilling.
@gwk1967: This is correct (the speed range comment). To my knowledge, there is no such thing as a two-speed drill (i.e. fast and slow). This is a decent set for a very low price. Personally, I have more tools than I need (I love the power tools), but this is a nice starter set.
Come on guys. It's $39. I tried to buy a battery for my other cordless drill and it was over $50. Probably good for around the house. I wouldn't buy it for working larger construction projects.
bought this set for my dad 1 year ago. Its the crappiest set you will ever buy. Not even worth the $39
Seasideguy is right, its $40 bucs though. Down from $130? I think its worth it just because the replacement batteries are over $50 alone.
@billblevins714: Lowe's did not carry this set a year ago, it was made exclusively for black friday this year. Last years black friday deal was a 24 volt 4 piece Black and Decker combo kit. Drill, stud finder, light, circular saw.
I personally own a Skil cordless drill (lithium ion) and I love it, for around the house it can do whatever I need, and I live in a fixer upper house and I do some construction on it.
I bought the 4 set that has the flashlight, drill, reciprocating saw and skill saw. And it came with two batteries. I'm in for this. It means two drills and flashlights, but it adds well to what I already have.
I couldn't help it, bought one for myself and one for my father, GREAT deal. Lowes called me less than 30 minutes after placing the order to tell me the items were waiting for me at guest services.
