Game of Thrones: The Complete Second Season (Blu-ray/DVD Combo + Digital Copy) for $34.99 + free shipping
Don't know how long this gonna last. It's the best deal I have found so far.
Grab it while you still can :D
I pre-ordered this yesterday. Glad to see the price drop, and even more glad for amazon's pre-order price guarantee!
Ditto to @gideonfrost on the pre-order price guarantee.
I'm also so glad that they're finally starting to include a digital copy with more TV shows.
Game of Thrones Season 2 w/Target exclusive bonus Blu-ray (includes 20 minute feature interview with author George R. R. Martin plus 4 behind the scenes featurettes) (Blu+DVD+DC) $29.99 IN STORE ONLY.... @Target
T-Minus 44 days.
@hootiemac: It's just too bad early adopters of Season 1 got hosed in that regard. If you held out for the re-release of Season 1, you got it all, including a neat new case.
@maciver: Where do you see this deal? link please
Alternate art versions are available at Best Buy for the same price, and look better in my opinion:
Blu-Ray, DVD, Digital Copy - Lannister
Blu-Ray, DVD, Digital Copy - Greyjoy
Also, look for the Amazon one to drop to 29.99, since they will most likely PM Target
@triplebud: They have it up at Blu-ray.com. It will be available starting 2/19
@triplebud: He said in store only. Doubt it's on the website.
Target, here I come... on Tuesday.
It is in their ad for next week I am sure you can search for a scan of it somewhere...
I bought the pre-order at Walmart. You enter the code online, then the first episode of season 2, and version of that episode with cementary, and a couple other bonus features are uploaded to your Vudu account instantly. Then they mail you the disks so they arrive on the 19th and the other episodes should also appear in your Vudu account on the same day.
I paid $34.96. I do wonder if it was also come with the iTunes version of them as Season one colectors edition did.
Last year I purchased season 1 at Costco($34.95 I believe) but on the way home I stopped by Target and ended up getting it for, I believe $29.95 which included some bonus material. I also stopped by BB who had it for $34.95, I ended up getting the Target version and returning the unopened Costco BDs.
Lesson learned, this year I'll start out at Target first, which according to several posters will again have the bonus set for a great price :) All my prices were for BDs
I guess with free shipping Amazon(with no sales tax) may be the best price(if they price match Target) but for the cost of sales tax I'll go with the bonus disc. Besides whenever I've preordered from Amazon they didn't ship until the release date which with standard shipping gets me my BDs on Saturday, many days after I could have picked it up B&M.
Yeah, target for me too. I really like the Lanister cover but I like saving a few bucks more.
Well this weeks ads are out and it looks like BB is listing it for $34.95 while Target has the bonus BD edition for $29.99.
I'd like to get the bonus disc but I do have $30 in BB gift cards I'd like to use up.....decisions decisions.....
I think I'll start out at BB(with the Target ad) and see if they'll price match Target, if they give me any crap I'll swing over to Target and get their BD set with the extra disc. Win win either way(other than the fact I'd like to use my BB gift card).
$29.99 for a full season of a quality program like this on BD, WOW!
