Bonsai Kitty Plush for $19.99
Get your own bonsai kitty. It's like Schrödinger's cat, but in a glass jar and the cat is definitely not alive.

Even if the original website featuring the bonsai kitten was all faked I have to say I find the concept disgusting...
@jertyrael: Honestly, I thought it was a prime example of an over-reaction to an Internet meme (one of the earliest, I think), after all the petitions I got against the cruel treatment of kittehs put in bottles. And I think they're cute, but I guess I have a sick of humor.
I could get the same thing if I stuff a $5 cat in a $1 bottle for $14 less and no shipping.
Full price and crazy thinkgeek shipping costs..am I missing the "deal" part of this deal?
@luv2cook72: I agree. Who's doing all the downvoting here? Folks must not understand the speed with which plush toys accumulate, especially around children. Those toys must reproduce like tribbles.
@angelofchaos99: The people that uploaded the 'deal' and those that think thinkgeek is the best thing ever and not just overpriced trinkets
@lifevirusx: Guilty. I like their stuff, and generally get a positive response from the community. Apparently, this one touched a nerve, though. Strangely, last time the item was in stock there were a bunch of positive votes and no negative ones. I guess the worm has turned for bonsai kitty.

I think it is funny but then I thought the original one was funny - I never thought it was real. How gullible some people are!~
How is this a deal? This is the normal online price and shipping is not free.
@zippy the pinhead: Just trying to give the people what they want. I occasionally post "deals" I think folks would be interested in.
I made my own with a glass jar, a $3.99 stuffed cat, and lots of foam stickers from a craft store for under $10. Looks way nicer, too.
Forget about storing up your ThinkGeek points, they expire pretty much before you can use them. You dont get full points for items on sale, and the "sale" price is rather high. They also sell the SAME THINGS often at other places for a lot less
