@jameseperyjr: every year, they make both team's shirts and hats for the superbowl. so this year they made both "Giants, winners of Superbowl XXIV" and "Patriots, winners of Superbowl XXIV" or whatever number it is.
then when one team wins, every player gets a tshirt, hat, sweater, etc to wear on camera right away, on the field just a few seconds after winning. the other shirts and hats that said the Patriots won can't be sold and are written off as a tax loss and/or donated to "kids in Africa". there are documentaries and articles on this, kids in Africa wearing clothing of nonexistent wins for the wrong team. since the shirts are all preprinted, not cranked out on the sidelines really quick

i wanted to clarify that these fleece hats don't say anything about the superbowl, or who won. they're just regular NFL items you can wear any year regardless or who is playing in the superbowl that year
