Excellent price, amazingly effective! More than doubled the range of my N+ I can now safely travel well over 300 yards from my original router no problem. Great for stubborn people who don't wanna pay for their own DSL as well and try to mooch off others. Residential consumers make sure to lock both your router and this extender with a password! But all in all I would probably pay close to double this for this product I love mine so much. A steal at $20! Same one at your local Wally World is $70-75 plus tax. Def worth this price, even refurbished if it's bad Netgear does awesome customer service and often exchanges with little to no hassle. That's just my 2 cents.

Will this work in Europe? Is the power supply dual voltage?

Ive gotten countless numbers of things from Daily Steals and have never had a problem. This isn't the first time I've heard of someone complaining about them, but I've never actually talked to a person that had a problem with them. Have you? I'm curious, because other than how long it takes to ship I have never had an issue with them.

I order alot of stuff from Daily Steals and have never had a problem either. They have an online assistant and also provide purchase tracking. The WiFi extender however sucks. The reviews at Amazon is what made me say no to the purchase.

I have a slightly different model, WNR2000 v2 running DD-WRT firmware. Works perfect. Good range and signal strength. I have total of about 12 wireless devices including Roku's. Never have to reboot it as I have had to do with other routers including Linksys.

Long time lurker here. I've bought tons of stuff from Deals.Woot and Woot (never get my hands on a B.O.C. though....) and have purchased from DailySteals on more than one occasion. Not once have I had a problem. Little long on shipping (but then, I have Prime, so...) but so far so good for me. I rarely, if ever, have posted. Just my $0.02, FWIW.

This unit does have it uses. It took me a while to config the unit because I was thinking it need an up link. Well the beauty of this unit is that i have a room that is a distance from my router another netgear so i do not know about compatability. However no wires were needed i joined my ap and boom i have full bars in a room that used to drop. The unit does need rebooted about one twice a week because it will not let the client grab a dhcp address but it will give you more bandwidth because the ap is handling your packets
25 bucks it serves it purpose.

I got one of these last time it was offered at this price and it works like a charm. Takes a bit more work to setup than a wireless router, but worth it if you need to extend your signal or have a non-wireless unit you want to connect to your network.

I bought this re-furbed from 1saleaday a couple weeks ago. Just got it set up last night though. It IS compatible with DD-WRT (google it if you don't know) and I immediately put it on. Works like a charm. Haven't tested range just yet, but streaming from my computer to my xbox was noticeably quicker. Streaming online (ie. Netflix) was never a problem to begin with.

Only complaint was the front cover was a bit scratched, but it's not going to be sitting out for all to see anyway. I also found, like all Netgear's, their stock interface for setup is a bit quirky. For instance, MAC filtering is not under Security as it should be.

Other than those, re-setting up all the house PC's/device's was a breeze and fast. I did forget to reset the cable modem after hooking it up, so internet didn't work at first. That was a idiot move on me though.

I put one of these in my livingroom and hooked up my bluray player, my XBOX360, and my DirectTV receiver to the Internet with it. It works great!

I bought one of these from DailySteals a few months back. I'm very happy with the unit and had no problems with DailySteals either. I placed it on my home entertainment rack and used to 4 ports to my Mitsubishi TV, Xbox, PS3 and PS2. I've been very impressed with the performance. The bonus is now my kids computers at the other end of the house, one floor up, get great wireless-N reception from the repeater. For Xbox users this is a LOT cheaper than the 'official' Xbox wireless-N adapter.

I wouldn't be wasting my time here trying to warn other consumers if nothing happened to me before. I understand that not everyone will experience this, but the chances of something bad happening is really high. Sorry to be the "party pooper", but I feel that you all have the right to know what you're dealing with before you purchase. Slow shipping, little to no customer service, high potential to receive faulty items or even get something not as described. Seriously, read their reviews on Reseller Ratings. The 1 star reviews are written by real people with real things to say. The 5 star reviews don't even say anything about the company itself.

@whymegawd: Is there anything I can do to help? I have a direct contact with this merchant, and if I can be of any assistance I would be glad to reach out to the merchant on your behalf. I tried e-mailing you at the e-mail address we have on file, but it bounced. Let me know.

I also didn't receive the item I ordered from them about 4 mo. ago. They did reply after a few days wait, said they would send another, but I didn't receive that one either. It didn't cost much, so I gave up.

This is the first order and I think will be my last on DailySteals. It took me countless times to place the order on their website after I created my account. I wouldn't allow me to purchase for some reason. I had to use another email to actually to make my purchase, and when it finally processed, it turned out I had two of the same items in my cart when I wanted only one. Then, I try to call them to cancel or change my order, and their recording states they have suspended any phone or online chat services "To Better Serve Us" WHAT DOES THAT MEAN EXACTLY? Wouldn't we better served if we could speak to a live person instead of sending an email to an unknown email address and not knowing if they have record of ever receiving it? Their FAQ doesn't any information about cancellations or refunds, etc. Horrible way to manage a business.

@whymegawd: Sounds a lot like Woot actually, which I think most of us consider part of Woot's charm. I wouldn't base my opinion of a company on their sarcastic, tongue-in-cheek Q&A, even if it's not all that funny.

@thefenst: I will hold on to your username for future references. They finally responded me last week after I was advised to file a complaint with BBB. I will see how this goes first. Thank you, I really appreciate it.

@rsmoker: I feel like the sarcasm reflects the lack of professionalism in their company. You're right, it's not funny and his sarcasm doesn't even make sense. Those were actual customer questions, not from their FAQs! If he has the time to come up with those remarks, he should have time to help customers in need.

This is a cheap way to get into dd-wrt.

FYI- Dailysteals = Ice Monkey. Don't know if that information will be helpful, but it might be relevant if you are looking into reseller ratings etc.

I am going to have to go with the these are crap side.

I am fairly tech savvy and no matter how much I tried I could not get this thing to extend the signal, at all. I could get it connected and supposedly repeating but I couldn't connect to it with several different laptops. It would work ok when I connected to the Ethernet ports but that kinda defeats the purpose.

Sorry but I am going to have to give a thumbs down.
