New MacBook Pros - Apple Store
Today Apple released updated versions of their entire MacBook Pro lineup, with faster processors, improved graphics, extremely long-lasting batteries, and more.
Apple doesn't offer price cuts on their products, so the best "deal" is to buy their products as soon as they are released or updated (in other words, now!).

....damn it. These had better be minor, I JUST bought a MBP not even a month ago.
EDIT: meh. Better battery and a marginally faster processor. I think I'll be okay.
...10 hour battery life is REALLY impressive though. Go Apple.
If I get one, I will probably wait till the fall when they give away a free iPod w/ purchase of a laptop. They still do that, right?
@zoomair766: There's no indication that they won't do that again this year. However, it is very common for Apple to release new MacBooks/MacBook Pros right after that deal ends...meaning you get the "worst" deal on the computer itself by buying an end-of-life product.
In other words, you should buy now if you are ready, or wait until the iPod deal starts later this year and buy as soon as it begins.
@smileyborg: I wouldn't mind the "worst" deal on the computer itself. I'm not quite ready, very close. I've had my MBP for almost 4 years and it could be just the way I work, but I am definitely noticing things not being as speedy as I'd like since I typically have so many apps open.
@thedogma: I'm in that boat with you. Just got a mbp about 2 months ago. I think I can live without the latest edition, though.
@zoomair766: They usually release new iPods immediately after that deal ends though... so sometimes you get screwed on the deal.
Last year it was just the Nanos and new iTouches, so I didn't care and I got a free 160 gb classic.
Best bet for a price break is to go in through the education store. If you're not a student or faculty member, you can still get the discount as the parent of a student or a home-schooler. Let Apple prove you're not, if you know what I mean. :-)
Ok... how is this a deal?
Its an announcement/ad for Apple. I understand the argument about "buy it now!" but it is not what this site is about.
Are you serious? WTF is this doing on the "Deals" page? PS I stopped following @wootdeals on Twitter because of THIS ENTRY.
hey guys is it cool if I post the Ipad on here
it's a deal because it is available
It's not a traditional "deal," per se, but a lot of people are interested in the latest Apple products...as evidenced by the fact that this deal was made popular.
What, you guys aren't excited about another overpriced apple product? Aren't we all wealthy whigs here? Oh wait, that's right, we are here because we love DEALS.
@joefriday711: LOL. Damn Skippy.
I wonder if I can give everyone my company discount on these... then it could be a deal :P
If you want a deal, look up just about any window's based system with the exact same specs and see how much money you'll save by not buying from apple.
This is why you buy a PC and not an overpriced MAC
Please don't buy this for your Grads. I see so many students with MacBooks on campuses. The problem is when they get into the working world. Everybody except artists are using Windows and these new grads have to learn the OS.
Save your $$. Buy a PC for your Grad.
Also: iPods are a waste. Buy a Sansa. You get more features and memory for the money and are not tethered to iTunes.
@stell12: At that, buy three of them and you'll still be under the price of of a Mac. I just don't get the obsession.
So where's the deal? I wish woot would give us the ability to "unwoot" a deal.
