Sorry, what is this? Special features to the one and only matrix movie ever created?

@ellimist28: Heh, you got that right. It's $13.40 for The Matrix and some whatever stuff and stuff about something. I know, let's have 4000 Agent Smith's, that will make it a lot more interesting.

I'm sorry, but the first Matrix movie was a confusing mess. All it gave us was a bunch of absurd fight sequences (Dodging bullets? Please. Totally ripped from Charlie's Angels 2) and a crap ton of unanswered questions.

Questions like "What kind of raves must they have in Zion?", "How many cartoon Mr. Smiths can a cartoon Neo run-kick in a circle?" "Is Neo Superman, Jesus, or just the sum of the remainder of an unbalanced equation inherent to the programming of the Matrix?" and "What is the deal with Vampires, Werewolfs and Poltergeists, and how do they fit into the Matrix mythology?"

The two Matrix sequels managed to answer all these nagging questions in the minds of every disappointed viewer of the original, AND made sure to eschew the brutality of martial artistry in favor of political discourse on the value of religion within government. Add to that the blend of bad science and determinist naval-gazing not seen since Capra's "Mindwalk," and you have a complete trilogy.

If it's region free will it play on ps3?

Why is this thing always so cheap in the UK but never in the US?

vote-for3vote-against

@zapp brannigan: Global economics. Your rights with this purchase may be different than the US version depending on the outcome of this case: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/10/30/business/supreme-court-hears-copyright-case-on-imported-textbooks.html?_r=0

That said...I'm thinking of getting this even though I have them on DVD already.

@takethemeatbridge: When will you learn that sarcasm just doesn't work for the US audience? The funniest part is that they all absolutely insist that it does, but then you put together a masterwork like this and it flies right over their heads.

@takethemeatbridge, we'd take your complaints more seriously if you didn't refer to the third, very messy movie as the first, the tightly-scripted game changer. Try again?

Please help me up vote @takethemeatbridge: .
To be honest when I read I'm sorry, but the first Matrix movie was a confusing mess. All it gave us was a bunch of absurd fight sequences. I downvoted
as I continued to read. I removed the down vote,
I continued to read. I upvoted,
I continued to read. Then I typed this.

All I am saying is give sarcasm a chance.

@satrnbmb: This would really suck if I were still in undergrad. International editions saved me hundreds if not over a thousand.

except for The Matrix came out in 1999 and Charlie's Angels II came out 4 years later...

@jerrystoner04:

And the first Charlie's Angels came out in 2000... A full year after the first Matrix.

Hey, wait... They actually made a sequel to Charlie's Angels?

@jerrystoner04: Jerry, you're right. Thank you for correcting my absurdly stupid mistake. You are a hero among men, and your penis is assuredly massive.

@caffeine_dude: Appreciate the props. That's exactly the sort of reaction I was going for.

@grtgrfx: Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your input. To mark your message as urgent, please press ALT-F4. To speak with a live representative, go outside.

@bione: There is a desperate need for a sarcasm font, but I think that would decrease the value of sarcasm. Not everyone should get it. But I'm glad to know that the downvotes were likely from people who thought I was serious, and not people critical of my sense of humor. Probably a little of both, but that's life.

The Animatrix and the Matrix are the only two worth seeing. They should sell a box set with just those two. Include the soundtrack if you need a space filler for the third disc.
