Tried to sign up..... just offered me the one week for free. You have to be more user friendly HULU
This was the original link: http://www.hulu.com/plus/lg_offer. Copy and paste it and make sure it matches exactly and the 3 month offer shows on the page.
@misterron: You nailed it. Folks, be mindful of the link you use and you'll end up with the 3 month membership. Just finished signing up (you do have to provide a CC num during registration) and activated my TV and already am scanning the offerings as we speak. At $0, I'd say it's worth every penny.
thanks for the link, this link works, thanks for highlighting the deal. Singed up , sweet deal.
"It is very important to understand that you will not receive a notice from Hulu that your free trial subscription has ended or that your paying subscription has begun."
Make a note for yourself somewhere. :)
Thanks, it worked (Copy and paste as opposed to clicking the hyper-link). Now we get to see how all those wifi blu-ray players work at Christmas!
awesome! MUST copy paste it.
Woo-hoo! Thanks!
Does anyone know how early you have to cancel the (free) membership in order to avoid the monthly charges?
Awesome. Just got my Roku so this is perfect! Thanks for posting it.
@coldwatercreep: "If you wish to avoid charges to your Payment Method, you must cancel Hulu Plus prior to midnight Eastern Time on the last day of your free trial period."
Great! Was hoping to get a free month, now it's three!!!!
Credit card required... It's a Trap!!! Or, you know, set an Outlook/phone reminder to cancel.
Awesome. couldn't use it on my current subscription so I just canceled and signed up with a new account for 3 free months!
Getting around the "credit card required" problem is easy.
Go to any bank and ask to buy a gift card. It will be a Visa or MC. It will cost about $5. Put $1 on it, or put $50 on it and spend $49 on groceries.
Use your new $1 Visa debit card to sign up for Hulu (or anything else). When the free period expires, if you forget to cancel, they'll try to charge your card, it will fail and cost you nothing.
Speaking as someone who has cancelled Hulu in the past, the service is really easy to cancel at any time and they will refund you the portion of your monthly payment that you didn't use fairly quickly.
They are surprisingly user-friendly with cancellations compared to many other companies nowadays.
I just signed up for a 1 month trial last night. I am now emailing customer support to see if they can extend it to 3 months.
not working, only see the one week trial
@slerner100 & @czupik: In case you didn't read my other post: "This was the original link: http://www.hulu.com/plus/lg_offer. Copy and paste it and make sure it matches exactly and the 3 month offer shows on the page."
I only see a week free trial how do you get the 3 month?
i use to be able to read, then i took a arrow to the knee. thanks very much! worked perfectly!
Absolutely works. 3 months free. Use the link provided in the comments. Thanks.
I would think a once shot temporary card number like Citi supplies would do the trick too. Just set the expiration to 2 months.
Thanks for the link OP, I just hooked up my TV to my comp and have been streaming the free bits of Hulu, this will be fun to have to try some of the paid for stuff.
@tiamat114: You're welcome! That's what this site is all about, helping others find deals they normally might miss.
Thanks for the link! Copy and paste link, the hyperlink will just bounce you to their main home page. I already used a free week trial on Xbox gold and it let me use the 3 month free trial anyway, so yay! Now I can watch some new stuff on the roku and 360. I linked it on facebook so some others can use it too. Thanks again!
Awesome find! Thanks for sharing!
I'm already a subscriber, but I'm going to cancel/suspend my account and have my girlfriend sign up for it.
Yeah, it's so funny how there's the gimmicks from businesses--they can't just have a standard link. Instead they have to have one that's specific and then if you don't happen to enter just the right one, you get stuck with a mere 7 day trial which isn't worth the hassle. Do they not realize by now that it's the internet and the good links will be what is shared amongst the masses, where you actually get your time (and/or money's) worth?? LOLz
dead?
@ashdlop: Nope use the 2nd link and copy and paste the url it will not work if you click on it. I just signed up. Thanks a lot!
It's best if you just re-type it from the comments. If you copy and paste it, it takes you to 7 day only I found.
Thanks Woot!
Soo hulu plus keeps saying I need to sign in to an xbox live gold account. But I already am :/
WHOO-HOO, signed up and signed in on my roku, next to download the app to my phone! THANKS!
I also got the 1 week offer two times using Chrome. Then I used @slerner100 & @czupik's link using firefox and it offered the three month free offer plus the chance to refer 2 people for an additional 2 weeks free for each referral that signed up. So that makes 4 months free. The link is pasted below. I hope this helps some Wooters out!

Copied and pasted, used a temporary MasterCard number. Let me think...is there anything I want to watch?
Awesomesauce
Have a Roku in the bedroom and a PS3 in the living room, already have Netflix...think this might have just put the nail in the coffin for Cable TV for me.
Just bought the Roku! Woot! Just in time! :)

i'm putting the apps on my droid x, kindle fire and ipads. and it'll be fun on the woot! roku box, too!
it'll be great during my vacation between xmas and ny in venice beach: after all, there's nothing else to look at down there . . .
;^)
Woo hoo! What a great way to enjoy the big, beautiful screen on my brand new Galaxy Nexus!!
Thanks OP!
+1
@misterron: Thank you, from me and my 6 week old LG 55LW6500.
See you in 3 months for a new link !
Cut and paste did the trick when clicking on the link only offered 1 week. Thanks!
I got the regular Hulu to watch on the comp just to check it out, but we just bought a blu-ray player with built-in streaming, so this is awesome. The idea is that I can watch most TV on my Netflix and Hulu accounts, and cut back on our sattelite bill substantially. I just want the local stations and to be able to watch the Broncos play!
Thank you very much!
Copy and paste worked for me - THANKS!!!
Used link in comment section and it worked perfectly. I just used an at&t phone rebate card that was empty and it accepted it.
It works!!
Yeah, it works, but you have to provide credit card info for it to work. Not a fan of the, "free, but you have to do this.".
