Do some research on this product. These are recycled batteries and their effectiveness is questionable at best. Some might have a full charge, some might not. You get what you pay for....

Shipping is $5.99 (+ sales tax) - for at least 1 to 4 packages, maybe more.

I got some today with this deal. Yeah, they may not be great quality, but if you don't need really long lasting batteries, $8 for 60 AAs is pretty good.

Bought these once in the past, burned through them quickly so not for me.

The voltage does drop pretty quickly on these batteries. It is very noticeable when using them in flashlights. It is almost as if you can watch them actually get dimmer during use.

These are definitely not recycled batteries. Maybe there's some recycled stuff in them like many batteries now, but they are just basic new Chinese alkaline batteries. I think they're good enough for this price. I've bought them before on sale. I have 20 unused ones right here, a year old, and they test good. The 10 I have used were good enough. (I mostly use AA rechargeables.)

They are Lowes' own brand, made and branded for Lowes.

This is a good deal. Order for pickup in store, and there is no shipping charge and they'll have them waiting for you at the service counter.

@nyy4life: I could not agree more. They are crap especially if you are using them in a device that requires a super drain like a camera or camera flash.

I purchased last year for my window candles. They worked flawlessly from November until March. My candles have a built-in timer, so they burned for six hours daily. I got my monies worth.
