Awesome deal for anyone looking for a SSD. One of the best ones available, comparable to the Samsung 830.

How can I find out if my Dell Inspiron 1720 will accept a SATA III SSD? It has SATA disks installed, that's all I know.

Excellent, good for old laptops that need a new breath. Thank You.

Ordered one. Looking forward to it. I use Macrium Reflect to image my current disk. I plan to do a restore over this SSD.

I am in for 2. Going to see how well these work in raid.

I've got this deal earlier today. I've red good things about Kingston SSD's in general. Also, the HyperX 3K models come with a 3 years manufacturer's warranty which gives me the confidence that the drive is made to last at least that time compared to the 2 years average warranty of standard magnetic hard drives, it is 50% more.

And also considering they are supposed to have a MTBF of 1,000,000 Hrs :) i think it is a good deal.

an update, both drives work fine. Put them in raid0 with a fresh install and windows7 boots in 19 seconds to usable desktop. i would buy these again if they came up. I would like the 5k next due to their increased life.
