Two reviews on the site, one good and one bad.
Tempting, but never heard of the seller. 3TB external drive is $150 elsewhere. For $15 I'm thinking it's worth the extra peace of mind. Not that anything on the external drive won't be backed up somewhere else, but just for the trouble.
If you're a member, Costco has a Seagate 3TB USB 3.0 external HD for $120 (valid only until 8/5.)
I wonder if this 3TB drive is soldered into a PCB USB controller, or just a standard SATA connector?
I heard that they solder the drive to the USB PCB board on the 2.5" drives
I've never used buydig.com, but they're definitely legit. But when in doubt check www.resellerratings.com, that tracks and rates online e-tailers. They give them a 7.67 out of 10 stars. They've saved me from many a questionable purchase from wonky sellers i've never heard of. Especially when the $ seemed too good to be true.

Also check google, their merchant review is 4.8 out of 5. That's based on over 11,000 consumer reviews. link here-
