Agreed @mstislavski. If I were a cheap knockoff, I might be missing original packaging as well...

same company as last week's gaga beats, did anyone get them yet? are they original?

I bought them last week from them. I can't tell if there fake. Their ok, sound quality is good, but if you have an Ipod of any sort, you have turn them almost all the way up to hear the music compared to others that only require you to turn up 3/4 of the way. The flat cable is cool, but the earpeices are designed bad and end up hurting your ears, not very comfortable. Overall I would have to say good sound, but not comfortable. I personally would not buy them again.

@xxbuttersxx: Thanks..I was wondering about them. Always good to hear some honest feedback.

Monster sayz: they're counterfeit and plan to prosecute the seller.

@nangiggles: Not sure if they are fakes or repackaged. It doesn't have the hallmarks of fakes (poor construction quality, missing details, etc). And for the most part, it sounds beatsesque (heavy on bass and recessed mids). For $20-$30, it does its job well.

Also, the Heartbeats were replaced with a new model, so expect a flood of cheap 1st gen Heartbeats for a bit while longer.

I picked up the dailysteal ones last week and they arrived at my doorstep this afternoon.

Not too comfortable, as I can't keep them in my ears without some flange tips I had laying around.

I'm about ...90% sure they're knockoffs. The ds ones came in a ziplock bag...and that's it. No packaging, and the 'case' they were zippered in looks like the beats tour case (the same as this listing shows) where the gaga beats have a triangular case.

Even so, if you can keep them in your ears...they sound...decent.

Uncomfortable and sound like crap... they're probably genuine Beats.

EDIT: I'm trying these at work, directly after switching out my Skullcandy 50/50's, and they sound better than first thought.

However, they are still uncomfortable as all hell, due to the choad of a earpiece. (short and overly wide).

If you have shallow ears, I would say it's a decent buy. Else, you will need to pick up some flange tips or something to keep them in your ears. Even with flanges, if I move around to much, I can feel them trying to escape my ears, and I have to push them back in.
