I've done HVAC for years, and these thermostats are worth the money, every aspect of them is great. They are actually easier to program for non skilled homeowners then the "standard" cheap one's. Some small bonuses are:
-Off the wall (armchair) programing is a plus
-Wired properly you can have a constant backlight on also, acts like a night light.
-Auto changeover.
