122 years? that's going to be a lot of scrolling to get to the jungle boobies.
thats pretty awesome
oh god! you need a lifetime to go through this!
Can't you get the same experience for free while cleaning out your grandparent's attic?
this is amazing! I had a friend long time ago whose family collected these magazines since forever ago and I always wanted to check them out but their collection was massive...its amazing that they can fit all that onto 6 dvds
http://shop.nationalgeographic.com/ngs/product/sale/dvds/march-of-the-penguins-DVD get this too its only 1.99
Now what do I do with the 25 years of these that were left in the attic?
The DVDs are going on my holiday wish list, March of the Penguins too.
@mikecris:Only difference the DVDs are mold/mildew free, and don't weigh nearly as much.
It's amazing where technology has gotten us. 122 years of magazine archives on 6 DVDS. Impressive.
The first 110 years are pretty good...the last 12 years are mostly crap.
I was just thumbing through my December 1955 issue. Adds for transatlantic crossings by turboprop or ship, vacations to the new nation of Israel, a WALL PHONE (imagine!), and how the 'native people' in South Africa love to have 'their pictures taken in their colorful homeland'. A real time capsule. Of course I jumped on this amazing deal. My wife will give it to me for Christmas.
Coming up 49.95 for me.
Deal seems to be over. My brother just tried to buy it after I did, and the price now is listed as $49.95 plus s/h. Not nearly the steal that this was when I pulled the trigger.
