Apple iPhone & iPod Power Bundle – 10 Colors Available – Includes 2 Cables, Cube & Car Charger for $4.99 + free shipping
Okay, now you’re just being rude. STOP HOLDING OUT AND BUY YOUR FIRST IPHONE.
I purchased white set for iPhone 3gs and they are rejected as not compatible devices. YMMV!
Wish they had some for iPhone 5. We'll be upgrading 2 different phones in our house in the next month or so. I've got a zillion of this style already.
If you buy proprietary apple accessories from a third party vendor, you're gonna have a bad time.
re: "STOP HOLDING OUT AND BUY YOUR FIRST IPHONE."
I'd rather own a dumbphone than an iPhone.
Wait...That statement was redundant.
I bought these the last time they were on woot. If I use the USB cable and to connect it to my PC, my iPhone will charge. If I plug the cable into the wall adapter, it claims to be charging but doesn't.
@criticalcritic: Love my iPhone. Your beef with the iPhone probably isn't because of the actual iPhone but because of some snobs that own one.
I, too, bought these last time they were on Woot, and it's a good thing it came with two cables...right out of the box, one did not work at all. Now, some months later after very little use (I keep it in my glovebox for those emergency charges while driving) it will charge verrrrry slooooowly, and will not connect to my laptop at all.
same as everyone else - one of the cables is totally dead and the wall portion charges slowly.
@snowire: I have plenty of 3rd-party accessories for my iPhone. Have had few, if any, problems.
I too ordered a couple of products, including the power bundle, and none of them worked with my iPhone 4S. Bummer, because the colors are awesome.
Bought this last time. They're alright. Standard chargers. Charge way slower than the real apple one, but for a car and back up charger it's fine.
@ashli143: No, I have beef with Apple and the fact that they rip-off Android's features directly (well, they did reverse the color scheme of the new browser), but then sues anyone else that has a similar function. However, that has nothing to do with my statement.
iPhone has the market absolutely cornered in the 'ease of use' area. However, Android spanks iPhone in the functionality. They both have their pros and cons, but iPhone IS the dumbphone of touchscreens phones. Like a dumb highschool cheerleader, or Paris Hilton, it's the fact that everyone thinks its cool that makes everyone thinks its cool. Just don't try to have a conversation with her. And for an additional pun, go back and read the first sentence of this paragraph again :-)
@ashli143: That's probably true. It get's annoying hearing "Droid doesn't do this!" for features Droid has had for a long time. Some iPhone users are just convinced their phone is somehow more special than it is. If people love it, or Android, that's great. I don't get the phone worship people have though.
@jmcachran: LMFAO @ the iPhone 4's Front Facing Camera that revolutionized cell phones... months after people were using it on the original Evo.
Or @ Siri. "Another Apple First!"... for something that Android had been doing since 2009.
Or @ the new iOS5 drop down menu that has ALWAYS existed in Android!
Then there's the huge list of things that Android does that will be claimed as firsts by iPhone users in the future... like multitasking, widgets, wifi hotspot, changeable keyboards, FM radio, location/time/state-triggered changes in settings, location/time/state-triggered apps, facial-recognition unlock, automatic text-to-speech that automatically activates while driving, probably 3-D model, maybe a model with a built-in kickstand...
Just a few things I expect iPhone to start adding over the next several years. In the meantime... I like having them now. Or a year ago. Or 2yrs ago. Or many of them since 3yrs ago...
Whatever, Android is the #1 selling OS in the U.S. and I love it.
