It's a steal at this price as it's still a fantastic game.

Good game, I just bought it.

Downloading now; it'll cure my zombie-killin' fix till mid December, when Dell finally ships my Left4Dead2 deal...

Even as an extra game to have around as a time killer, you can't beat the price! :)

Does this game require a monthly subscription?

@WantaBOC: nope, just broadband internet.

I am going to be switching from Vista to Win 7, and will have to back up and re-install all my games. For this kind of downloadable game how does that work? Do you just get to DL it again or do you just get an ISO and back it up then use it after you get the new OS going or what?

If you have Steam, check their forums, I know there's a topic on this there somewhere. Do you really have to reinstall all your games for the upgrade from Vista? I thought that was only true of upgrading from XP.

RE: the game, it's fantastic! And this is a great deal. If you buy it, you'll have tons of fun with the basic campaigns but there are now tons of new downloadable maps that people have created which are lots of fun too. My favorite is called "Suicide Blitz," be sure to check it out!

@Groovymarlin: I am moving from a 32 bit OS to 64 bit OS, I have not got the disc or anything yet, but I am pretty sure I will have to do a clean install.

@Ryum: If you havnt used steam before you are missing out. All you have to do after your clean install is reinstall steam onto your computer. Then log in to your account. Your account holds all the games you have purchased. Simply go to the one of the games on your account ( I have over 70 games on steam), right click and click install. It will download the game from Valves servers and install if for you. It's THAT easy. You will never lose a game bought through steam....unless you somehow manage to forget your account entirely :)

Very nice. The demo was great. Nice to have the whole thing at a great price.

@ryum: you can also right click the game and select "backup game files", which lets you save the game files to a disk or external hard drive. So, you can restore from the backup-up instead of having to download it again. For larger games with multi-gigabyte downloads, this can save a lot of time.
