Also, note that you can schedule a time that is convenient for you to have your oil changed and you can skip the whole Wait Thirty Minuets For Your Turn game.

I have used Sears before and the service was good and the delays were minimal. Overall, I would recommend them.

Nice if you can get it .... Sears cancelled my oil change appointment for being OOS ! How the fk can an auto center be OOS on an oil change ? I have four Sears auto centers in my area that still show AVAILABLE for this deal . Once again Sears aggravates its customers !!!

Note it does not include changing the filter.

I usually change my oil myself, but for this price, it's great. I usually spend about this much just on the oil & filter when I do it. Plus, Sears does all the fluids and stuff. I had my tires aligned at Sears & thought they were fast & professional. Let's see how this one works, still waiting for my "confirmation email" and phone call verifying time tomorrow...

Thanks ibnoels, I overlooked that (mainly because I thought it would be automatically included, who would change their oil & not change the filter? Retarded...)

Anyways, I called them & they said they charge $3.00 for the filter, so it still isn't that bad a deal.

Does Not Include the Filter ????????????????????

That's insane, it's like getting new tires, but does not include the air, that's an extra $3...

I know $3 is minimal, but c'mon, tell us the real price, $19.99.

Just be careful. I went for some special --maybe an oil change, and they tried to sell me other services that were not needed I would steer clear $19.99 --with filter is an easy deal to get

I would also be weary of the filter they use for $3. Most likely, it will have a terrible flow rate and not only will its filtering capabilities be terrible, it will strangle the oil flow of your engine.

However, it could also be a decent filter which makes this deal, even with the filter surcharge, cheaper than changing the oil yourself! SD!

I also got the out of stock email...and that's after fighting their website for 30 minutes to schedule the appointment. Not a good first impression.

@petera: Why do you think ANY place does "cheap" oil changes? They want you in the door.

FYI the low level techs at Sears are paid hourly and have nothing to gain from trying to sell you things you think you don't need. Those techs are trying to get you out the door so they can go have a smoke break, not keep you there so you can stare at them through the window.

Well this sell is actually $19.99.
The whole deal includes Valvoline oil (up to 5qt), 24-point inspection, and purlator filter.
All techs that work at Sears Auto Center get paid hourly plus commission on what service they do.
For example an oil change is $2.50 and a coolant exchange is $5.80 for each one they do.
The price is honestly just to get the customer in the door.
The Sales person and Tech work together to see what the customers vehicle needs.
If the vehicle needs tire, brakes, coolant exchange, or whatever they find out. They will let the customer know. Thats business.

HAHA! Another quality deal from Sears... I NEVER trust any kid any where to change my oil. They take no pride in their work at all. I have seen these oil places cross thread filters, put wrong filters on, wrong oil in the car & the list goes on & on. Dealership or do itmyself ONLY!

I signed up for this, and it said to expect an email. I never got it, didn't get a phone call, and when I called they told me they don't do appointments.
This was worthless.
