Hmm let's see their locations... tosses in a few cities... seems to be in Ohio and North Carolina

worked fine for Pennsylvania and Connecticut...

just announced they'll be closing some more in restaurants MA. Looks like a burger patty in-between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches wasnt a great idea. They should have known enough to put bacon inside the grilled cheese sandwiches...
bad business practices.

@highwyre237: Yeah, if they had only figured out a clever name for them... Oh wait, I do believe that's called a patty melt and they don't seem to be the "kiss of death" for other food service businesses that sell them.

I can't get their store locator to work. I love friendly's ice cream though. Mmmmm....

I love ice cream...too bad or a good thing we don't have one of these near me. I just refuse to drive 441 miles for a free sundae...even if it is a 3-scoop.

closest one is 2015 miles.

The two Friendly Ice Cream stores near me closed recently. I LOVE Friendly's -lived in CT when it was started in Wilbraham, MA. Used to go to lunch every time I got a chance when I worked near one. After my move to FL, I was delighted to see two open up - but sadly they were not the same after purchased and then sold by Hersey Foods. Now gone. Would give a lot to have a burger, coke, and peanutbutter fudge sundae right around now. Good deal for anyone who lives near one.

I remember Friendly's being one of my family's favorite treats when I was growing up. Then one day, their food got terrible, their scoops got much smaller, and service seemed to take a nosedive. I think one of my favorite memories as a kid was when we tried to order some food, they were missing ingredients for every food we tried to order (including hamburger buns), and my dad went, "Well, what the ** do you guys have?" then got up and left.

Another time my mom and I went for ice cream. She ordered a banana split, and about halfway through realized they didn't put a banana in it. Their solution? Take $0.25 off our bill.

@racinreaver: stop ruining my good memories.

There's one by my mom's home back in Masachuetts.
I used to go to that one all the time when I lived back there.
I also went to the one along the Mass Pike where they put "Home of Friendly's" every time I could on my way to college.
They were good times.
Unfortunately, Friendly's didn't get all the way out to California.
